   Expedition filtration system...

Expedition: The Expedition water filtration system uses a process called forward osmosis, providing clean drink without the difficult sucking or pumping typical of in-line filters, and without the use of harsh chemicals. The dual-chambered reservoir can be filled either with clean water through its round port, or quickly filled with dirty water through the wide roll-top opening for filtration. Just dip and go. Very little effort or time is required of the user. And because there is no hydraulic pressure involved, the Expedition will never clog, unlike every other filter technology.

Produces 25 liters of drink

The osmotic filtration is driven by a sports drink syrup, generating a dilute sports drink for enhanced hydration and performance. One small syrup pouch will filter an entire bladder of water, generating 25 times its volume in clean drink at the rate of one liter every hour and greatly reducing the amount of water you must carry in remote areas.
 - Produces 25 liters of drink

Only one filter technology can reliably and safely filter the muddy or cloudy contaminated water frequently found in remote areas or during disaster scenarios. If you need to be prepared to filter the widest range of water sources – clear, muddy, brackish – forward osmosis is the ideal solution.

Forward osmosis products out-perform the competition in these situations, because unlike other filter or purification technologies, they are virtually unaffected by the presence of mud or other suspended solids in the contaminated source water. Using an advanced membrane filter, our systems offer the highest purity available from any personal water filter. Yet because they operate passively without pressure, they do not clog, allowing virtually any water source to be used to provide clean, safe drink.
